Today was an easy 4 mile run with 2 barefoot on grass. It was fun besides the fact my foot kept on getting stabbed! Curse those pokeys! But yeah... nothing too extradinarie.

Well around that. Man I feel so STUPID! I couldn't even do morning practice! And at the work out I kept on falling behind! I want to be up there, I really do, but I let the fact that I am tired, get a hold of me and put me down! AHHH! I am so mad! Too many things are keeping me away from where I need to be on the team! But the other thing is they are things I need to do! It's the running version of High School Musical! Yes, I have been breaking into song randomly through out the day and people join in, already knowing the words to the song. Well... you can always get higher...

The Run-a-Thon was AWESOME! I had a great time! I don't think my team got first, but what evs. I am also glad I got to get some sleep in and get the same amount of running as I was supposed to during the Run-a-Thon! Everything worked out! Yay! I still want some sleep though... And I can! Horray for no Sing-a-Thon!

Today we did 8 miles with 20 minute tempo. It is so much easier when it is cool! If you didn't believe there was a difference in running in different weather, you would believe after that run! I stayed up better with the faster group. I am glad we got together because it would have been hard to push myself alone.

I didn't do so hot on this work out. My legs just couldn't move! It's not like they were sore, it is just they couldn't move fast! It seemed like all my energy wasn't there! I sure hope I start getting better soon.

My legs still felt tired and weird. I am kind of worried now. Devin says it might be because either I am not eating enough or I am not getting enough sleep. Funny enough, I haven't been eating as much and I haven't got as much sleep as I usually do this whole week. Being a parent really changes my schedule! My parents come home today so my schedule should start being normal again. THANK GOODNESS!

Today was a easy 5 mile run with 4 200's. Well it was supposed to be easy! But again my legs are so pooped! Well I decided my whole body is pooped. I really think the reason I am so tired lately is because I haven't been getting as much sleep and I haven't been eating as much because of the perfect combo of Homecoming Week and being a parent. I am really happy that my parents are back. I think I should be back to my normal self in like a week or something. My fingers are crossed for the race tomorrow.

Well, I was wrong to stress about the race today! I felt amazing! It was fantastic! I even beat Finch! With a stick! It was pretty exciting.

Today was the dreaded workout. Michigan's! They aren't as bad as I remember though. Sure they were tough but I think with the fact that I was actually running with people with a goal time (I ran it alone with the clock off last time) it made it easier and faster.

Yup, that's it. I am totally sick and it is driving me bonkers! I tried to run this morning but I had to stop to hack out my lungs! At school is when it started getting worse. That is when it really hit me. I already had a sore throat and a little cough but then the back of my neck started hurting, my body felt like poo, and I got flashes of nausea. It is not a fun package. So I didn't run after school and got a orange smoothie with strawberries and a shot of vitamin C mixed in. When I got home I took a Day-Quil. I hope I start feeling better because I really do want to be out there with the team.

It's not a lot but it's something. I am pretty sad that I didn't go race but I feel like it was the better choice.

It's good to be back. Even though it kind of hurt me, I am just glad that I am running again. I felt really good at first but then the breathing in my throat started getting kind of scratchy and rough, then I just started getting as tired as I usually do when running at the rollercoaster hills, then after I started feeling last week hit me, then all on top of that, I got dehydrated. The last one was my bad. But seriously, it's just good to be back. I can't wait for the race this week.

Like you might have heard I didn't go to morning practice today because I stayed up till midnight freaking out about 2 girls asking me to Sadie's. I will be showing up tomorrow.

Today's work out was fun :) It was fun for my whole body minus my lungs! I felt like I kept up where I was supposed to be for most of the time but its just my lungs are still in the "uck" stage. I'm getting better. I can feel it. I am going to keep working hard and not let this keep me from running my best this weekend.

I really hate this whole "recovery" thing. I hate the feeling of this special treatment. Like I'm not good enough to be where I am. It frustrates me that I can't be running to the best of my abilities! I can't wait for the day when I am back to normal and I can hurt because the work out is hard, not because I can't breath.

During the work out my breathing was pretty bad. It got better (not healthy better) when I got a drink, so that's good. And I felt completely fine during weights and jumps too, so that is also good. I really hope I am feeling better by, at least, Friday. Preferably two weeks ago but Friday is the what I am aiming for now.

Today was amazing! The only thing that brought me a little pain was the fact I had a stomach cramp because I had to take a dump. That's right! My breathing was completely fine! Sure, I'm still coughing a little bit but it didn't affect my running! It was fantastic! I am that much more excited for my race now!

I think it was 10. Well this work out was a lot better than I thought. I felt best with my last 5 minute tempo. I am pretty excited for state because I feel like I know how to race this course now.

My legs are a little sore from the race. We NEED to do better with stretching! It would be so helpful if we did it as a team and actually meet and have someone conduct it like how we do during track. But besides that today's work out was nice.

I think I added that up correctly. We did Michigan's. I thought I was doing well at the beginning and during that I was thinking "hey, I might do very well with this!" But then the most horrible thing happened; My right shoe came untied! It was during the second to last 1200 when it happened. I didn't think it was legal to stop to tie it so I kept running and the shoe kept on becoming more and more loose. Soon I had to adjust with every step. It was a mess. After I finally got permission and tied my shoe I felt a lot better and my pace got a little faster. Over all I was a little depressed with my over all time. Oh well, there is next time and I'm not going to let this ruin my running life :) Haha! That sounded totally lame and cheesey!

My legs didn't hurt as bad today! Woo hoo! I am excited for tomorrow's race actually. I always kind of liked Cedar's course. It might have been the fact that I always got a medal. I better get one tomorrow! Hey, that can be my goal. Get a meddle. So top 10? Piece of cake. I think I just had a whole conversation with myself!

There was one thing that made me happy about this race. And if you didn't guess with my celebrating after my finish it's the fact I beat Jared. That was my goal for this whole season! It's time for a new goal and that is to do well during state. I  haven't decided what well is yet but I will think of it soon.
